Dear Pilot Holistic Review Team Members -

As you may have heard, the Board took action to address ICANN reviews on 19 May 2025. As part of its actions, the Board decided to conclude the Pilot Holistic Review initiative. We understand there will be correspondence to us from the Board on this decision in the coming days. In light of this decision, Monday’s Pilot Holistic Review team meeting is canceled, and you will receive a cancellation notice for the remaining series of scheduled calls.

 

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to you all for your participation in this work. Your contributions to the team’s discussions helped shine light on the core challenges of the work as it was chartered and informed the Board’s ultimate decision.

 

Board members will be holding a Prep Week session on 28 May 2025 to discuss the Board’s decision on ICANN reviews and its vision for next steps. If you are interested in contributing to the ongoing discussion on reviews, we encourage you to attend this session and follow this work as it continues to evolve. If there is a desire for this team to debrief after the Board session, we would be happy to organize a call to discuss further.
