As per the decision reached on plenary call #14 to merge the WHOIS1 Rec #4 and Compliance subgroups into one subgroup, we would like to inform you that we proceeded as follows:

1. WHOIS1 Rec #4 subgroup:https://community.icann.org/display/WHO/WHOIS1+Rec+%234%3A+Compliance[community.icann.org]

· The subgroup page and mailing list are the group’s tools moving forward

· Carlton and Chris have been added to this mailing list: rds-whois2-rec4-compliance@icann.org.

2. Compliance subgroup: https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=71604743[community.icann.org]

· RT members from the mailing-list (rds-whois2-compliance@icann.org) have been unsubscribed to avoid any confusion but will keep it “active” should it be needed in the future.

Input needed

• Your first pass document for Rec #4 will need to be updated to reflect the merge. The objective needs to be updated to fix members, email and wiki page links, to list both objectives in scope, to merge substantive sections. Can you please confirm whether you would like to do the merge between documents or would like ICANN org to do it?

• Can you please also confirm whether you would like us to set up a call for the Compliance subgroup?
