As you will recall, on 01 November, I sent a message saying that we were considering an engagement session and a meeting with Board and/or ICANN Org to clarify or elaborate on aspects of the final report. Only two people asked to be considered and the RT Leadership decided that there would not be sufficient added value to justify that expense given that RT Leadership should be able to cover all aspects of the report (since Chris had said that the opportunity to consult would have value). Cathrin cannot accept ICANN funds and Susan is already separately funded (possibly needing hotel for a couple of days), so that left me. I now have air travel provided by the ALAC, and so have requested hotel and living expenses from the RT (about $2k). To recap our financial position, our original budget for the RT was $690k and we are currently projecting a total cost of well under $300k.
