Registrars: As you know, we will be having a vote on the RC Budget in August. We also need to hold an election for two of our GNSO seats effective in October. Therefore, we decided to put both the budget vote and the election on one ballot according to the following schedule: July 12 - Treasurer published proposed budget July12 - July 15 - Chair moved for acceptance of the budget; motion is endorsed by three members July 20 - Chair calls for nominations for 2 GNSO Representatives July 20 - August 3rd - Nomination period open August 3 - Formal discussion period on the budget closes August 3 - Candidate acceptances of nominations and conflict of interest statements are due August 8 - August 11 - Secretary to publish ballot on budget and open positions for inspection and correction August 13 - Secretary to call the vote and open ballot August 13-23 - Ballot open August 24 - Secretary announces results I soon will send out a formal call for nominations for the two available positions.
