For the budget committee - Line by Line expenses
Hi all, We have been spending last several days in arguing the budget to and fro. I realise one of the important components is the size and we have all been independantly breaking down random items here and there. However what would really help is a LINE by LINE breakdown of the budget. That is the only way we can - * figure out how much money is goibng where at the micro level * figure out which expenses need to be curtailed * and most importantly figure out creative ways of substituting certain costs (maybe by external outsourced models or in any other way) Budget committee: How can we get our hands on this data? Hi all,

Not quite sure that this is an accurate characterization. I have seen a lot of words from very few people. I'd be interested in hearing what other members of the constituency think. There are 55 members registered to vote - I can guarantee for certain that we haven't heard from a 1/3 them on this issue. -- -rwr "Don't be too timid and squeamish about your actions. I did not mean for it to be a characterization of the type you mention :)

Most definitely. Anyways my email was more of a bunch of words to bring in reasoning to get a line by line expense sheet. That would give us far more data to work and play around with. Dear Ross: I feel a motion coming on. However, I don't think any one of us should frame it. But even a simple motion with the required five endorsements can be fine tuned by "friendly amendments". Well drafted, it should be able to draw in a lot of "yes" ballots. Regards, BobC
Bhavin, I have some data that might be "useful", the budget mentions 3 meetings instead of the regular 2 so they increased the Travel expense by 50%, im sure they spent some time calculating this. That means $800k per meeting. What do you think about my math now? How about one meeting per year. Do we even need 2 of them?
