dot-info Abusive Domain Use Policy
To whomever this may concern, After reviewing the proposed Abusive Domain Use Policy by Afilias for dot-info I find it a good idea but not well enough detailed or thought out to be excepted "As is". The problems with the proposal is that it leaves out some special conditions, such as Domain Name hijacking for use of abuse by a third unknown party, no DNS proper configuration consideration, and no delineation on "Other abusive behaviors" consideration. However if these areas are addressed in detail in the proposal I believe that proposal can be a good method of registries handling Domain Name abuse. However additionally, I would rather see a user group outside of ICANN to be set up to perform this type of function as an adjunct advisory group to ICANN and the registries.
