Understood. Did not realize that Ash Wednesday was part of the holiday. when I was kid in Catholic school in  a previous century, we went to school after getting the ashes.  Just like that night is the first night of Passover, but the day is not generally a Holy day - though it is for many a tough day of home preparation. I guess it also varies on degree of observance.

 In any case have a very good Holy Week. To all who are celebrating Holy Weeks, best wishes.
