This is a nice set of slides. Since you asked for comments, I took a quick look.

Slide 14 gives key dates. A few other events are not root server dates per se but nonetheless seem to me useful and relevant to include.
Date for DNSSEC. Among other things, DNSSEC expanded the size of the root zone quite substantially, which caused concern.
Date for the introduction of IDNs
Date of new gTLDs, which substantially expanded the number of TLDs

Slide 20 on Myths is good. I recommend further emphasis in some of the comparisons. e.g.
Root servers control where Internet traffic goes vs Routers control where Internet traffic goes
Administration of the root zone... vs Administration is handled by IANA; Provisioning is handled by the RSOs

Slide 22: Why the sharp drop off in queries in 2021? Was this a pandemic effect and consistent with a similar drop off in overall Internet traffic or something else? Might be worth adding a note to the slide.

Slides 31 and 32
I'd reverse the order of these two slides. Not a big deal, just my sense of the natural order of presentation.

That's all. Nothing critical.
Thanks,
