Hi Andrew,
I thought adding the following questions under the DNS and Networking section, or another relevant section could enhance the existing content.

Q1.  What role does EDNS play in modern DNS queries, and how does it impact the operations of root servers?
Suggested answer:
EDNS, or Extension Mechanisms for DNS, defined in RFC 6891, enhances the DNS protocol's capabilities while maintaining backward compatibility. It is crucial for modern DNS queries, enabling larger responses, such as those with DNSSEC data or additional records.
Q2.  What impact does a misconfiguration in a single root server have on the overall DNS ecosystem?
Suggested answer (just to highlight how the RSS is fault tolerant or robust, and it might need some phrasing):
A misconfiguration in a single root server can have localized or temporary effects; however, the root server system is designed to ensure the overall DNS ecosystem remains resilient and reliable, even in the event of misconfiguration or component failure.

Dear RSSAC Caucus Members,

A friendly reminder to please review the RSSAC FAQ and suggest any changes before December 17th.

Thanks,
Andrew
