Not to be too pedantic, but I personally believe it more accurate to say:
* RSOs provide the most common means by which the root zone is published.
* Verisign (Root Zone Maintainer) handles provisioning.
* PTI performs the IANA functions (Root Zone Manager) and thus handles administration.
