Thanks to everyone who helped review RSSAC023v2 and added comments and text into the Google doc.

Based on all the comments and edits received I have prepared a a final draft ready for the one week final review. After this review RSSAC023v2 will be forwarded to the RSSAC for a vote. 

The Revision History(Section 6.2) contains the major changes between v1 and v2, and I’ve also reproduced it below.

Section 1.1, Terminology was added
Section 2.5, InterNIC was renamed to Internic and Continued Expansion to recognize that it covered more than just InterNIC
Section 2.8, DNS Root Provision Modification (1998) was added 
Section 2.10, IANA Transition was added
Section 2.11, Proposed Governance Model for the DNS Root Server System was added
Many small edits were made to Section 2 for clarification and grammar
Sub-Section titles in Section 3 were renamed in accordance with RSSAC050
Sub-Sections of Section 3 were each updated by their respective root server operator
The identifiers and operator names in Appendix A were updated
An introduction was added to Appendix B
Many references in Appendix B were changed to more enduring citations

Please add any comments by Friday May 29. 

PDF is also attached, but please add any comments into the Google doc if you can.

As discussed on the call I accepted many suggestions in the Google doc and cleaned it up a bit.

The major new edits we discussed on the call were to the following sections.
1.1 Terminology
2.11 Proposed Governance Model for the DNS Root Server System
7.2 Historical Copies of Root Name Server Information

Please review those sections specifically and if you have any suggestions please add them to the document.

There are still some formatting and whitespace issues that I need to fix in the document. I will be working on that this week and will produce a new version next week for the full 2 week RSSAC Caucus review cycle.
