Dear Patrick and Peter

Just following up on my e-mail of 14 November (below).  Please would you let me know when the WHOIS Review Team can expect to receive the anonymised data which you promised relating to WHOIS practices within the CENTR community.

This would be very helpful for our draft Report, which is due to be published at the end of this month, as we are keen to highlight examples of good practice outside of the gTLD environment, which might help the gTLD community develop responses for WHOIS which successfully balance the legitimate, competing needs of the various stakeholders.

I understand that Peter has expressed concern to one of my clients that I might misappropriate CENTR data gained on behalf of that client (in connection to an unrelated project) for the purposes of the WHOIS Review Team.  I am bemused at this apparent assumption, and would like to understand what action on my part would have given rise to it.  In any event, please be assured that I would never do such a thing, which is why I have made the request for anonymised data repeatedly through the appropriate channels.

I hope you are well.  You may recall that a couple of months ago, we were in correspondence about whether CENTR could provide any anonymised data with regard to WHOIS policy and implementation to the ICANN WHOIS Review Team, which I chair.

You indicated that you would be prepared to share some information with us.  We are aiming to finalise our draft report by the end of this month, and therefore I would greatly appreciate if you could indicate when you will be able to share the information with us.
