Dear All,

I had a chance to talk to present my comments to the IRD-WG yesterday against their call for public comments.

During the discussion, one thing I realized was that though we are assuming certain roles and responsibilities  (e.g. Registrant as owner/provider of data, registrar as maintainer of data etc.), the community may not have a clear and cohesive view on them. 

Thus, I ask if ICANN documents these roles anywhere?  Else, we should not assume them and perhaps revisit them.
