Dear Colleagues,

Congratulation for a good work done so far during our two outreach initiatives that have been conducted today to ALAC and RSSAC. It was a nice experience as this is our first outreach initiative to receive community feedback since the RT was formed. It is well known that Security, Stability and Resiliency of Internet Unique Identifier is a big thing which sometime look very technical blocking useful feedback from most of engagement stakeholders.

I am proposing the following to improve our engagement.

1. For each group we are meeting, we could prepare some more probing questions to help receive clear feedback and observation from the engaged stakeholders. These probing question could be specific or general like the one included in the slide.

2. I am of the idea that we don't need to mention on the Board Letter as you might have noted, it totally changes the discussion when it is mentioned.

It  will not be responsible from to keep ignoring  these developments(SSSAC  letter, the AC/SO chairs communications and the new board  letter).

I suggested  in my comments,  that we mention these in the slide and explain how we are addressing them and  plan to improve our work.

We did not give these developments  the  due attention and consideration, which should have led us to engage the parties,  to understand the concerns, discuss solutions and show a plan to  board and community. By not doing so, we exposed ourselves to this suspension decision from the board without consultation and discussion with us.

All the correspondences are public:  https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/correspondence

Let us remain in our previous track and leave the Board letter to be discussed later on Friday in our meeting.

I think this needs to be discussed as urgent matter even though it was expected. We need to have responses on this for groups we are meeting this week including the board.

This is my observation and feeling known that RT at Abu Dhabi might have some discussion to assess our first day feedback and finally include some received feeling from RT in our future engagement. So far So Good.
