Dear all
I wanted to do this trough the mike at the end of our meeting this afternoon, but somehow I forgot.
When checking-in online, some airline’s websites will tell you this, but many won’t:
When leaving from RAK, whether you have checked-in luggage or not, you have to present yourself at the check-in counter of your airline with a printed boarding-pass or printed seat confirmation. They will there put a stamp on the print, and (only) the stamped boarding pass will get you through security.
No printed boarding pass? You will have to get a stamped form at the check-in counter, take the form to another counter to get a boarding pass and take the boarding pass to the check-in counter again to get it stamped before they will let you through security.
I assume don’t want that. Serious queues at both counters when I was there yesterday morning at 6.15AM
Printed boarding pass but no stamp? Security will send you back to the queue at the check-in counter, so better to go there and get the stamp straight away
Safe and painless travels !
