Dear Team members:
The Team will be meeting in Johannesburg June 25 & 26.
If your schedules permit, members also are encouraged to attend the ICANN meeting there, which is scheduled for June 26 – 29, as there will be several sessions relevant to the Team’s work. (We’ll discuss related outreach opportunities in
Madrid.)
Emily, Eric and I recognize the challenge this poses for some members, but we agreed that it would be best to move forward with this meeting based on several factors, including: a majority of Team members will be able to attend; the benefits
of meeting in conjunction with an ICANN meeting; and the challenges of finding another date and location in the July-August timeframe suitable for most of the Team. Thank you for bearing with us as we worked through all this.
Staff: please alert ICANN travel so members can make arrangements ASAP; add the meeting dates to our wiki; and let the co-chairs know about meeting space.
