Recommendation 31
Hello, The subteam tasked with reviewing the comments related to recommendation 31 agreed that the implementation of DoH could be an important security challenge. However, we believe that this is not within the remit of ICANN and we have agreed to drop this recommendation. We suggest that in the explanation of recommendation 29 we add a couple of sentences that state that there is the possibility of malicious implementation of DoH. Alain, Eric and me will prepare proposal for the next meeting. Zarko
Thank you, Zarko. If you could add the text to Rec 29 in this document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WTnaEk2pW0V85FRXk1uUN4O-co7DcDIXb_9_-1MC... We can get consensus on the text and I’ll move it to the final draft. Zarko: Please make sure the public comment spreadsheet is updated to either not the dropping of Rec 31 or pointing to the new text in Rec 29 as appropriate. Russ
