Hi Denise, Please see the responses to your questions and requests below. 1. We are working with SMEs to get the answers to the questions as quickly as possible. Some of the answers have been provided already, and inserted into the Google sheet<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lFKb5ghbhQgl2klzQChHWT8_Y4WfTL21J9QN...>. The expected delivery dates and answers are being populated into the Google sheet directly once we have this information from the SMEs. 2. We will follow this up and provide additional answers and more specific links where they are available. 3. Noted, and we will do this going forward. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or comments. When can we expect answers, or an ETA for answers, for outstanding questions? In particular, can we have answers relevant to Recs 1-5 before our next call? 2. In reviewing the answers that have been provided, I see that several answers re-state what was said in the briefing related to the recommendation. While I appreciate the summary (rather than just a link to a meeting recording), the questions were follow-ups to the briefings (note the dates; in some cases the briefings were the genesis for the questions). In addition to referencing statements in the briefings, would you please ask relevant staff to consider the questions and whether more specific answers (with links) could be provided? 3. It would be useful if you would please include relevant Q&As in the material you provide the team in advance of our calls addressing recommendations. Thank you. Thank you for the follow-up. For the sake of completeness, I’m restating my previous requests that – for the 30 or so questions from 2017 that have not been answered and for which there are no “expected delivery dates” listed – that staff provide an expected delivery date for each unanswered question. This needs to be factored into the Team’s work plan as we assess SSR1 recommendations and it’s more difficult to plan without an idea of when the information will be provided. Thanks for your help. Dear members of the SSR2 Review Team, We wanted to provide clarification regarding the status of ICANN organization staff response to the questions raised on SSR1 Recommendations. We have received a total of 107 questions on the SSR1 recommendations. Some of these questions were asked during and/or after the implementation briefing sessions, and some were sent to us at later dates via email. Of the 107 questions, 27 questions had resulted from the briefing sessions, 64 questions were sent to us on 26 August 2017, and 16 questions were sent to us on 09 October 2017. On 28 October 2017 the SSR2 Review was paused, at which point staff stopped working on gathering answers to the remaining questions pending the review restarting and the review team determining their path forward. To date, staff have provided answers to 21 of the 27 questions resulting from the briefing sessions. Some of the remaining 6 questions required clarification from the review team; ICANN org requested clarification from SSR2 but has not received answers since before the pause. Of the questions submitted to us via email, staff has provided answers to 36 of the 64 questions, and 15 of the 16 questions. ICANN organization understands the important work of this review team and is dedicated to help support your work toward a successful completion of this review. Hi Denise, At the time of this writing, 26 questions are outstanding, 3 of which are pending clarification from the review team. Per the discussions on the leadership call on 1 October, all outstanding questions now have the due date of 17 October 2018, understanding that this target date is tentative as multiple cross-functional teams have to collaborate to provide answers to the questions.
