Dear ASP IRT Sub-Track, 

I hope you are well. We look forward to meeting with you on 19 September 2024 at 18:00-19:00 UTC. In advance of the call, we wanted to let you know that we’ve posted the deck for your review. 

As you may be aware, the ICANN Board resolved over the weekend to approve the use of up to US$5 million of the 2012 New gTLD Program Auction Proceeds to fund part of the direct costs of the expanded scope of support and gTLD evaluation fee discount for the Applicant Support Program. This was following the community input requested by the ICANN Board Chair (you can find the letters received on the correspondence page here). 

As a result, we have updated our previously shared budget assumptions and scenarios in order to finalize the ASP Funding Plan. We plan to review this information in next week’s call along with a few follow up items.
