Oh no!!! This is terrible news. He has always been an absolute pleasure to work with and a true fount of knowledge and practical experience, having served with him in SubPro, this IRT and the GNSO Council his input and steady influence into our discussion, especially in the technical and practical aspects of  the DNS industry has been in my view pivotal.

May he rest in peace. He will be sorely missed, and it is a tragedy that his family, have been denied longer with his love, care and guidance; they have my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy.

Jeff, thank you for letting us know.

Vale  Rubens Kuhl, you live on in our memories, and in what your deeds have left behind.

I am stunned and saddened as well.  Ruebens was always very generous in sharing his knowledge and patient in explaining complex topics.

I am stunned and so very sad to hear this news. Rubens was a quiet force and approached each issue with logic and balance. I could count on him to be the backstop on issues beyond my expertise. I felt if I got it wrong, Rubens would gently correct and all would be ok. So tragic to loose such a talented and wonderful person.

It pains me to have to send this to the group, but for those of you that have not heard, fellow IRT member, RySG member, colleague, friend and father (ages 3 and 11), Rubens Kuhl passed away.

This was just put out by Nic.br:  https://nic.br/noticia/notas/note-of-condolence-rubens-kuhl-registro-br-product-marketing-manager/

Its not often I am at a loss for words, but all I can say is the Rubens was incredibly instrumental in the SubPro Working Group and in this IRT.

May his memory be a blessing.

Sincerely,

Jeff
