This is truly heartbreaking news. Rubens was an exceptional colleague insightful, composed, and immensely knowledgeable. Working with him in SubPro, the IRT, and many other groups was both a privilege and a learning experience. His calm wisdom, technical depth, and balanced perspective enriched every discussion and left a lasting mark on all who had the honor to work with him.
His passing is an immense loss to our community. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones, may they find solace in knowing how deeply he was respected and how enduring his legacy will be.

I am stunned and so very sad to hear this news. Rubens was a quiet force and approached each issue with logic and balance. I could count on him to be the backstop on issues beyond my expertise. I felt if I got it wrong, Rubens would gently correct and all would be ok. So tragic to loose such a talented and wonderful person.

It pains me to have to send this to the group, but for those of you that have not heard, fellow IRT member, RySG member, colleague, friend and father (ages 3 and 11), Rubens Kuhl passed away.
Its not often I am at a loss for words, but all I can say is the Rubens was incredibly instrumental in the SubPro Working Group and in this IRT.
May his memory be a blessing.
