Lars – thanks for flagging the GAC response.

Is the GAC Communique Clarifying call open to observers?  If so, can you share the info?

If not, one would think that with such a high profile topic such as Next Round, and these particular issues, there would be ample interest from the community in seeing how these differences are addressed and resolved.  What the board proposed is a bit of new territory for all involved.

Thanks

Hi IRT members,

I hope you are all keeping well. I am afraid we will have to cancel tomorrow’s IRT meeting. We did not quite manage to review all input on the T&C document. We will repurpose next week’s Tuesday IRT call (13 UTC) to go over the document. All going as planned; we will then put it out for public comment later next week. As discussed and agreed with you during the last call, the public comment period will be reduced to 30 days.

On a separate note, Tipti’s letter to the GAC Chair (in response to the ICANN80 communiqué) received a response from the GAC Chair on Monday (the response will also be posted on the correspondence page later this week). This exchange is probably of interest to everyone in this group.

Best wishes. Lars
