Thanks Elisa for this information and the offer.

Just to clarify with respect to the timing of ICANN 84.  At that point, the Applicant Guidebook should be on the Board's agenda to be approved, as you have stated.

And that being the case, the notice must say: (a) these sessions are informational only, and (b)no changes to the AGB will be made.  In other words, the purpose is not to solicit feedback on these topics, but rather to present the final guidebook and answer any questions.

My guess is that the IRT will be completely done with its work at that point and any future changes would be handled through the Predictability Framework.  But again, this should be made clear to the community.

Thanks!

My fear is that you will get lots of people during the open mics that will want to lobby for changes.

Dear IRT members,

As you know, we are working towards the adoption of the Applicant Guidebook during ICANN84. In the meantime, the New gTLD Program team will hold a prep week session on the status of the Program.

A number of SMEs will be on the ground in Dublin, and we plan to hold open-mic sessions on different topics of the Applicant Guidebook, including but not limited to: Applicant Journey, PICs/RVCs, CPE, Community Input/Objections/Appeals, and Contention Set Resolution. The final list of topics will be communicated to the SubPro IRT as soon as practicable. In addition, there will be one session on the Base Registry Agreement, and one on the outreach, engagement and communications efforts.

Similarly to Prague, we would also like to offer to attend any of your community sessions. If you are interested, please reach out to us with the timing of your session, the topics you would like us to cover, how much time we will have to present, and any known questions you would like us to answer. We kindly ask that you let us know, off-list, by 24 September 2025, if you would like us to attend any of your sessions.

We will also send a similar message to the SO/AC leaders and include a short note in an upcoming Community Digest.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions/comments you may have!

Best,

Elisa
