Thanks for the update.
I’d like to call out a paragraph from the Implementation Plan you just shared. The sentence in the Background sections reads “The goal of the PDP was to determine how to best facilitate the entry of contact
information into domain name registration data and directory services by non-English speakers and users of non-ASCII scripts.”. I believe this is not an accurate characterization of the PDP’s goal. The PDP’s charter was to determine two things: 1) whether
it is desirable to translate or transliterate contact information and 2) who should decide who should bear the burden of such transformation.
