That is why I switched to safari which does not used the Plug ins.  It also could have been my addition of HTTPs Everywhere with Firefox that often causes lots of problems

Having challenges connecting to adobe connect on my mac - is anyone experiencing the same issue of a pop up asking whether there is an external application to be used to connect.
