Subject: Nominations for UA Communications WG Chair and Vice Chair positions Now Open

Dear UA Communications Working Group members,

I am writing to inform all of you that the UASG Leadership is calling for nominations for the following open positions:

• Chair of UA Communications WG
• Vice-Chair of UA Communications WG

Chair(s) should have a solid understanding of communications strategies; ability to develop clear and concise messaging; strong writing and editing skills; expertise in verbally communicating/presenting to global audiences; and excellent planning, organizational, execution and time management skills. Academic background in a relevant discipline is desirable, with hands-on communications experience (in-house or agency).

Please share self-nomination or support for self-nominations using the Comms WG email list.

Please share self-nominations by 20 Feb 2022, 12:00 UTC. This can be done by emailing on the UA Comms WG mailing list with your interest in chair or vice-chair position and sharing a short Statement of Interest and relevant experience in your email.

We are always looking for candidates who can volunteer their time and effort to promote UA. Please consider participating.
