+1 Dimple/Dusan Harish do avoid cross posting on various mailing list and use of inappropriate language as it is also not a expected standard of behaviour. If you think you are only one contributing in UA then may i ask you after so many workshops in your regions where UA stands in India Presently, even the registry you claim to work for NIXI itself is still not UA ready. Which India service provider or company has come forward post these workshops and said they have become UA ready? Its easy to raise finger on someone for its contribution but please have a self assessment first. The community is jointly working hard for UA globally and we all have long way to go. Dear Harish, Thank you very much for the information and your passion to UA! I’d also like to ask you to share with UA Comms the most relevant materials: presentations, videos, articles, etc., which you usually use as a speaker. I believe this is necessary to share UA Ambassador’s plans and materials with the UA Communications WG and ICANN staff for several reasons: - UA Comms needs to know more on how to promote UA issues locally, what messaging works better and what feedback you get on it; - This data can be used to fill in the UASG Calendar: <https://uasg.tech/events/> https://uasg.tech/events/ - Your materials can be used as a basis for preparing educational materials for UASG Local Initiatives - If you use/prepare some new/fresh UA content for the local workshops, it could be even considered to be distributed on the uasg.tech, if applicable and if this content differs from what is posted on the UASG website at the moment. This is my personal opinion and request. In case you, Harish, or anyone from UA Comms feels it is not acceptable, please, do not hesitate to let me know. Dear all, One thing here is obvious. We should have the system for collaboration between groups, and it was obvious in the sessions at ICANN meeting. The nature of work from ambassadors is not always same. If you just compare presentations from Walter and Harish on ICANN meeting, you can easily see that the work done in China by 3 ambassadors is almost completely for further use in measurement WG, and Harish was doing the work most suitable for future use of comms group. If we continue with cross list mailings, it will create a chaos in communications, and sometimes, the messages would be sent on wrong lists. Therefore, I suggest that presentations, announcement, and all other materials should be shared in original group and list, and the chairs will decide what to do next with those announcements and materials. I believe this is necessary to share UA Ambassador’s plans and materials with the UA Communications WG and ICANN staff for several reasons: * UA Comms needs to know more on how to promote UA issues locally, what messaging works better and what feedback you get on it; * This data can be used to fill in the UASG Calendar: https://uasg.tech/events/ [uasg.tech]<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__uasg.tech_events_&d=DwM...> * Your materials can be used as a basis for preparing educational materials for UASG Local Initiatives * If you use/prepare some new/fresh UA content for the local workshops, it could be even considered to be distributed on the uasg.tech, if applicable and if this content differs from what is posted on the UASG website at the moment. This is my personal opinion and request. In case you, Harish, or anyone from UA Comms feels it is not acceptable, please, do not hesitate to let me know. Ha ha, if you are surprised you haven’t been on the lists long enough! We attract our fair share of lurkers using fake identities who contribute nothing but complaints. This is a new sort of complaint, but definitely in line with previous complaints, most of which are ad hominem in nature. As a general rule, if someone has an “English-seeming” email name (“Steve”, “Mike”, etc), yet writes as if they are using a Troll-to-English machine translator, it is just a matter of time before they start making a pest of themselves on the lists. Regarding the complaint for Harish to stop posting on lists, and just let chairs and leadership do it: I completely disagree. I wish more people were posting their activities on our lists! Dear All, Kindly maintain the UASG`s Expected Standards of Behavior. It is to be noted that you are only discouraging the efforts. I am only helping the UASG and its efforts. Nobody wants to show that one is ICANN. UA efforts are new and this mistake is not done by me at all. Is it that big mistake that you are breaching the expected standard of behaviour. *To err is human*. I hope you would understand. In case this language is used again and this inappropriate behaviour is repeated, would be raised to the appropriate forum. One of the Ambassador from India is also treated that way earlier last year. May I know the reason why?? I hope we would all work together and unitedly.
