I sustenance the nomination of Mark Svancarek from Microsoft for the position of EAI WG chair if UASG leadership is willing to hold WG Cahir or vice-chair positions, it’s always a honor when people coming from pertinent contextual volunteer to lead such vital positions, I support that we all WG members should standby for people who deserve it truly. I also endorse if individuals or representatives whose companies are functioning in Email space supporting EAI should step forward and volunteer for nominated as chair or vice-chair in the interest of sunny imminent of WG and UASG leadership should encourage such nomination.

Perhaps I misunderstood. I interpreted Sarmad's mail as saying that no
candidates had stepped forward, and a meeting had to be cancelled. Does
that match your understanding? It sounded like an oops to me, so I
nominated someone, and specifically I nominated a person I consider
excellently suited to the task.
