Dear Universal Acceptance (UA) Community,

 

On behalf of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG), I am pleased to announce the results of the 2021 UASG leadership elections (Chair and Vice-Chair positions). As the UASG charter indicates, the UASG will be “overseen by one Chair and two to three Vice-Chairs who will be appointed to two-year terms.” 

 

Interested candidates for the Chair and Vice-Chair positions were asked to submit self-nominations and Statements of Interest by 9 March 2021 (original deadline was extended). The UASG received four nominations – one for Chair and three for Vice-Chair – resulting in an uncontested election. Below are the results.
