Our Thai and law firm deals with defamation and copyright abuse cases often and the biggest problem is the Whois info is sometimes fictional. The info listed about the registrant has addresses which are not accurate and the phone numbers are disconnected. 

We look to help contribute easier ways for checks and balances to contact domain name registrants when there is a legal issue.

With better registration many conflicts can be resolved by mediation.

Otherwise, court action is needed when the Registrant can not be contacted via Whois.
