Hello everybody, I look forward to meeting all of you at the first Reviewing the CEP subgroup call tomorrow, Wednesday 26 October, at 13:00. Invitations were sent to all Participants last week. Please let staff know (mssi-secretariat@icann.org) if you did not receive one. Please note that only Participants, not Observers, are permitted to actively participate in WS2 meetings and discussions. If you are an Observer and would like to be a bit more involved please consider joining our group as an active participant. We’re a small group and any and all help will be gratefully appreciated! Just let staff know if you’d like to switch status (mssi-secretariat@icann.org) and it will be done. The purpose of our initial meeting tomorrow will be three fold: 1. To introduce the basics of the Cooperative Engagement Process (CEP) to all group members. This may be a bit elementary to those who have participated in a CEP but with the wide diversity of knowledge we have in this group I thought it was important that everyone start with some common base of knowledge. 2. To gauge members interests and views on the various macro issues we’ll be dealing with in this group. 3. To jointly create a work plan going forward. I propose the following agenda for our first meeting: I. Introduction, Attendance, Regrets and Statements of Interest II. CEP: The Basics III. Discuss: Areas and Topics of Interest IV. Proposed division of tasks / work plan V. AOB I look forward to finally getting started with this. As the gateway to the IRP the CEP is extremely important to the success of the Accountability project. Working together, I’m sure we’re going to do a great job!
