I suspect that I am not permitted to post to the ws2-diversity list, so I am sending this email to you both and to the MSSI Secretariat for further sharing within the diversity group as you see fit.
The SSAC, as you are aware, is a small and very specialised stakeholder group within ICANN, but is certainly taking note as best we can of the progress of all the CCWG-A Sub-Groups. In particular, with regard to the topic of Diversity, the SSAC has, through me, been monitoring this Sub-Group’s work. As a result, at our Annual SSAC Workshop in September, we had a lively focussed discussion on Diversity and what it means in the context of the SSAC. I would like to share the outcomes of that discussion with the group, as I believe it is relevant to the strawman document that is being developed.
This is “work-in-progress” for the SSAC but the SSAC Chair Patrik Fältström has agreed that he is comfortable to share these outcomes with the Diversity Sub-Group.
I am planning to join the call this week so will see you online then.
