I have reconciled the drafts with the notes from Lito and Alan.   Lito, in response to your comment about clarifying that Section 2 applies to all Board seats, I have added the clarification to the first sentence of the guidelines and removed the words “for all Board seats” from Section 1.  Therefore, there should be no doubt that our guidelines (sections 1 and 2) apply to any board seat.   If you think it is still not clear, we can revise again after 2nd read.  It will be interesting to hear the feedback.  See below.

 

 

The proposed guidelines apply to all Board seats whether the Director is appointed by the SO/AC or the ICANN Nominating Committee and are as follows:

 

1. Petitions for removal:

a.      may be for any reason; and

b.      must….:

 

 

Also, I found Lido’s and Alan’s messages from Sunday.  I had archived them by mistake.  My apologies again.
