Evening all,

Australia has just launched our WSIS+20 domestic preparatory process to support upcoming WSIS negotiations. As a strong supporter of multistakeholder Internet governance, we have sought to embed a robust multistakeholder approach to our preparations. This has included establishing a range of engagement methods and a joint working group of government and domestic multistakeholder community representatives across the breadth of the 11 WSIS Action Lines. Our goal is to achieve evidence based enhancements to the WSIS that position it and institutions such as the IGF for future success.

More information about our WSIS+20 preparations can be found on our website - https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/media-communications-arts/internet/world-summit-information-society-wsis

We look forward to keeping you updated, and are keen to hear how other preparatory processes are working in other parts of the world.

Kind regards,

Ian Sheldon
