An interesting development this new amendment is. Watch the session tomorrow morning, when this is to be discussed. 



There's also a proposed amendment to be considered, as listed in the UN Journal:

It's an amendment for the Pact, rather than the GDC, but since it's for the first section of the Pact, it means it's an umbrella concept that applies to the rest of the text, including the GDC. I wouldn't be surprised if the authors of the amendment ask this to be put to a vote.
