Dear all,
Kindly note that the deadline to register for the
WSIS+20 virtual Stakeholder Consultations is
today, 5 June at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Sessions are divided into two to accommodate different geographic regions and time zones:
- Stakeholders from East and South Asia, Oceania, and the Americas (Pacific Time) are encouraged to register Session 1 by following this link: Monday,
9 June at 8:00 p.m. EST
- Stakeholders from Africa, West Asia, Europe, and the Americas (Eastern Time) are encouraged to register Session 2 by following this link: Tuesday,
10 June at 10:00 a.m. EST
Guiding questions for the consultation:
- To what extent and how has the vision of a "people-centred, inclusive and development-oriented Information Society" evolved over the past 20 years since WSIS?
- What are the priorities and challenges to the implementation of WSIS outcomes today?
- How can cooperation through the WSIS mechanisms, including multistakeholder dialogue and recently adopted the Global Digital Compact, enhance coherence in digital governance?
