Thanks, Isra. Not sure if this information was not shared here earlier, but the zero draft, as expected, is a copy of the modalities for WSIS+10. That’s not surprising, given the fact that they have been tested once. There will be work on these (the link you provided has the calendar for that), and it’s likely that they will go through some edits. These edits are only going to be done by member states; there’s no space for other stakeholders’ involvement. Perhaps you have already noticed that there’s only one way of engagement in the process for other stakeholders, as described in the point 6 - informal interactive consultations. So, as many have already stated here and in other places - if people want to participate, they should talk to their national governments, mainly the ministries of foreign affairs, and see if they could join their delegations as experts. The nice part is that whoever is not aligned with the ruling party of their country does not exist in the eyes of the WSIS process. Sounds promising. With so many hotly contested and polarized elections around the world, we could make a wild but educated exteapolation that this means 50% of the connected world does not get a voice, regardless of their (non-government) stakeholder. For example, I don't expect any government to defend us SMEs, nor do I expect tech giants to do so. Maybe if Jimson gets in on his delegation. So that would set us at 1 representative.
