Despite Lisse's typically cynical remarks, Barrack has a very good point. Diversity is important because it includes different points of view that are generally not perceived by others in a group. I suggest that it is important to have representatives from all regions who are able to speak intelligently to the issues and are able to participate. There are a few Africans who have been quite positive contributors to the process so far -- I think initially of Barrack, Sean and Fiona -- and their input and that of others that I have probably forgotten to name will be valuable . Thank you Thomas,
I appreciate the open minded response you have given me, Geographic diversity helps in knowledge transfer and ensuring there is buy in and support from different parts of the world, i would be happy to see a volunteer from Africa.
