Also possibly off topic: Isn't obfuscation one of tools of compromise and diplomacy: Ambiguity that leaves every body free to argue some more another day, once the future actually unfolds, but achieves something today. The degree to which we should or could eschew might be limited. Often the meaning of something only becomes clear once it has been lived and interpreted (design vs running code).
