CCWG-Accountability-WS2 Plenaries - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
All, In preparing the agenda for the 27 September 1300 UTC plenary it has become obvious that we will not be able to complete the usual administration and all of the 4 first readings (SOAC Acct, HR, Ombuds, Staff Acct) and the second reading of the Diversity recommendations in a two hour meeting. *Given the importance of completing these readings at this time the Co-Chairs have decided to schedule an additional 2 hour plenary session to complete this work for Thursday 28 September 1900 UTC.* In addition to this the Co-Chairs have scheduled 2 additional plenaries prior to the 18 October 1900UTC plenary to allow all sub-groups the maximum opportunities to complete their work, should any amendments be required of sub-groups between readings, and have it approved by the plenary so it can go to public consultation (if required). These additional plenaries are scheduled for: - 4 October 0500 UTC - 11 October 1300 UTC If there is no need for either of these additional plenaries these will be cancelled on the preceding Monday via an email to the list. The package for the 27/28 September plenary, including the agenda and documents, will be forwarded to the list within the next 24 hours as per usual. Special thanks to David McAuley for allowing us to use the IOT time on 28 September. Bernard Turcotte ICANN Staff Support to the CCWG-Accountability-WS2
Thanks Bernie, That plan makes sense. On 21 Sep. 2017 9:31 am, "Bernard Turcotte" <turcotte.bernard@gmail.com> wrote:

Dear Kavouss, thank you for your note! We are now talking about the meetings in Bernie’s e-mail that was sent yesterday. These are 27 September 1300 UTC* 28 September 1900 UTC 4 October 0500 UTC 11 October 1300 UTC 18 October 1900UTC* The calls marked with an * are the meetings which were already in the meeting schedule. The three additional meetings are the ones we added. Please note that we might cancel one or more of the additional meetings depending on the progress we make. I am not sure I can agree with the notion "badly managed“ WS2 meetings. As an active contributor you know there is a lot of discussion taking place in the subgroups’ calls, which does not always allow for the rapporteurs to proceed as quickly as they would surely hope to. MSSI will send documents and invites for all the meetings. All the best, Thomas

Thomas Pls note that not all members of CCWG attending all nine sub groups .Consequently for most of the members7 participants the submitted report is a fresh doc. I emphazize that 1. All docs must be available in their final form 7 days before the meeting 2. At the meeting opportunity should given for members 7 participants to raise questions and seek clarification and there must be no pressure from co-chair to prevent members 7 participants to raise their concerns, questions and seeking clarifications In the past it was the case and some co-chairs impose their ruling to putoff such clarifications sought or concerns expressed in aruging that time was of esense. We are not reposponsible for organizations of the meeting and seems very pressuring to have 4 Plenarry in tless than 14 days. At least I do not expect that my intervention be interrupted BY ANY CO-CHAIR as it was frequently done in the past Regards Kavouss TOO MUCH Regards On Thu, Sep 21, 2017 at 2:27 PM, Thomas Rickert <thomas@rickert.net> wrote:
