All, Mathieu has kindly updated a Google doc he had prepared some time ago. It is a scorecard displaying the various areas of work and their respective completion status. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HcUUDn5DHSVo7lLo-FWU_QMa8PGgfZWTP_kG... <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HcUUDn5DHSVo7lLo-FWU_QMa8PGgfZWTP_kG...> There's a lot of yellow "to be refined" which we should be able to turn into green in Dublin. Kind regards, Thomas

A lot of the Board's 1B's contain only a note that there is a connection with SMM. That seems repetitive. So as far as using this to identify where other work is required, perhaps it would be more helpful to have a version that scores areas other than the SMM as 1A/green if the only objection to it is the SMM (while obviously the the SMM itself gets a red/2 score). Or at least a green mark in the corner? :-) Naturally, this would only be for the purposes of directing further work on refinement, not for the purposes of review: if we dropped SMM, for example, *we* might no longer agree with some areas that we had previously marked as green; at least our continuing support would have to be reviewed.
Kind regards, Thomas

Thanks Thomas, very helpful. Is it possible to get a definition of the meaning of the status "to be considered" and "to be refined". I am guessing that a rough match to the Board's terminology is that a "to be considered' is a 1B and "to be refined" is a 1A - but just want to check. As I understand it, the transition process will be considered and refined, refined and considered, till the US Government decides if the transition can legally occur in the first place. Ron
Thanks, Bruce! For the areas that need to be refined: These are areas where the group has already seen proposals, which just need some tweaking. For the areas that need to be considered: These would be parts where the group has not seen draft language at all, e.g. on human rights. Best, Thomas

Dear All, I consider that we made considerable progress on our way out from the serious difficulties that we have had few days ago. There are few areas we need to work on . Consideration of supplementary actions along the line of those in Plan B needs to be further considered and taken into account to address those areas that the Two Page Comparisons Sidley Memo has indicated and pave the way for future improvement toward full empowerment of the community Kavouss 2015-10-14 12:32 GMT+02:00 Bruce Tonkin <Bruce.Tonkin@melbourneit.com.au>:
