Revised Phishing Awareness Module – Incorporating ACES Feedback
Dear ACES Members, I hope you are doing well. Following the feedback and comments shared by ACES members, the Phishing Awareness Module video has now been updated. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to review the initial version and for providing their valuable input. Please find below the link to the revised video presentation, which incorporates the feedback received. The voiceover script has also been updated accordingly for your reference. *Updated video link:* https://youtu.be/rhqtFFqIxLU *Updated voiceover script:* https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KbZ9I_1vsAID306PaqAelF_4DcgQBegn-7mxN22E... Your continued feedback is welcome as we work toward finalizing the module. As discussed in previous calls, region-specific examples can be incorporated at a later stage when the material is adapted for local use. This content is designed as a train-the-trainer resource, allowing speakers to adapt the material to their own presentation style and local context during training sessions. Also attached for your reference is the response sheet addressing the individual feedback received via the mailing list earlier. Please feel free to share any additional feedback on this version so that it can be discussed during our upcoming call. Thank you once again for your support and contributions! Best regards, Atif.

Hi Atif. Great job. I recall that we advised on making the videos short. I also noticed that the use of YouTube is good. So, I am sharing a template: using a playlist approach with short scripts. The materials here are not ours, but, we could put our materials as approved by ACES to good use. Find here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlqHOB65lnFa1asLiaiqDkqGgTptumSMd&si=kljH... Dear Mohammad and ACES Team, Hope you are fine, Again, thank you for the tremendous work you have done. In particular, I would like to highlight some concrete enhancements that significantly improve accessibility and user experience. The inclusion of closed captions is a very positive step, especially for non-native English speakers and users with accessibility needs. In addition, the change in narration style and voice quality noticeably improves clarity, neutrality, and overall engagement, making the content easier to follow for a broader global audience. I would also like to note the decision to publish the updated video on YouTube instead of Vimeo as a positive improvement. YouTube is a more familiar and accessible platform for most end users, offers better native support for captions and playback across devices, and increases the potential reach and visibility of the resource. From a content perspective, the pedagogical structure is also stronger. The clearer definition of phishing as a social engineering technique, the expanded explanation of different phishing types (spear phishing, smishing, vishing, whaling), and the more detailed treatment of warning signs and malware substantially enhance the educational value of the resource. The consistency of the data and the clearer progression of topics represent an important improvement. In the interest of brevity, and regarding the remaining points previously raised, I would like to refer to the observations already shared in my earlier written feedback and during one of the recent ACES meetings. Thank you ! Warm regards, *Hannah Frank* On Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 1:11 PM Adebunmi Akinbo <adebunmi.akinbo@gmail.com> wrote:
