Good evening Moataz Thank you for coming out to try a face saving effort for Hadia by way of claiming that she is a member of your ALS. Without prejudice to our individual rights to aspire to any elective office in ICANN, I find your position here rather curious. If Hadia has been your member since 2021, as you claimed, why did she not reflect this in both the nomination and her acceptance including her SOI? This to me and other discerning members of AFRALO fall short of expectations. The offices in AFRALO are to be filled by the congruent parts of AFRALO which are the ALS. If all the ALS have not been doing what we have been doing, where would she have an AFRALO to contest in. Another curiosity is why she was not endorsed or supported by your ALS from the moment nomination was opened until Akay raised his objection. It is my humble opinion that, we should avoid short cuts in all we do in Africa. As far as we are concerned in our ALS, Hadia does not represent your ALS in AFRALO. This to us is a serious infraction which must be discouraged within AFRALO. Let us respect our due diligence and due process. This issue will have to be investigated by the ICANN Staff, because if not justifiably handled could destroy the fabric of AFRALO. Thank you. Dear All,
I Hope this email finds you well. This is to let you know that Hadia Elminiawi has been a member in good standing of the Egyptian ALS Shaarawy Foundation for Development (SFD) since January 2021 and that we fully support her nomination to the AFRALO chairperson role.
Best wishes and good luck to all.

Please read the Job Description for NomCom Delegates <https://community.icann.org/download/attachments/231375118/2024%20NomCom%20J...>. Additionally, please note the following as you select and appoint your delegate to the 2024 NomCom:
