So please provide me as soon as possible, and in any case before Wednesday 10 August, with the name of your ALS representative that will attend the Dakar meeting. I want to remind you that the aim of this huge effort of bringing the representatives of all AFRALO ALSes to Dakar is to give those representatives the necessary information and knowledge to improve their participation in AFRALO, ALAC and ICANN activities, and more specifically their involvement in the policy development process. So please appoint people who, after the capacity building sessions, have the willing and the ability to participate actively and defend the interest of the African Internet end-users. ---------------------------- Chers tous, Comme vous le savez déjà, nous allons enfin pouvoir mettre en œuvre à Dakar en Octobre prochain, notre projet de programme formation pour toutes les ALS Africaines grâce à un grand geste de solidarité de nos collègues d’EURALO et de LACRALO, et au magnifique soutien du Président et des Vices Président d’ALAC. Je vous rappelle que le but de cet énorme effort de faire venir les représentants de toutes les ALS Africaines à Dakar est de leur donner les informations et le savoir nécessaires pour améliorer leur participation aux activités d’AFRALO, d’At-Large et dICANN, et plus particulièrement leur implication dans le processus de développement de politique.
