Following up on the Call for Nominations for the Individual member representative election the deadline of 19th August has now passed.
Abdulkarim Oloyede self-nominated on 18 August 2022, being the only candidate.
Therefore, as stated in the announcement if there is more than 1 nominee*, “there will be an election, otherwise the candidate will be selected by acclamation.”*
Accordingly, Abdulkarim Oloyede has been selected by *acclamation*.
His term will begin at the close of the 2022 ICANN AGM and will end at the 2023 AGM.
