The most supported theme was the one about the new gTLD and the JAS.
During its last call of 8 February, the AFRALO members selected 2 among the 5 themes that they found the most appropriate:
· New gTLD and JAS
· Dissemination of the African content
To start the preparation of the San José meeting, we need to choose the theme. Please give your choice before 15 February
And to edit the draft statement to be proposed to the Costa Rica meeting, would you please express in the meantime your willing to actively participate in the preparation of the so-called draft. We should prepare it before the end of February to allow time for its finalization and formatting prior to its printing and distribution later at the joint meeting.

Les propositions de thème pour la réunion conjointe AFRALO-AfrICANN à San José reçues à ce jour étaient au nombre de 5 :
· Nouveaux gTLD & JAS
· SOPA – PIPA
· Migration de IPV4 à IPV6
· Aspects légaux de la Cybercriminalité
· Dissémination du contenu Africain
Le thème qui a eu le plus d’avis favorable est celui sur les nouveaux gTLD et le JAS.
Lors de sa téléconférence du 8 Février, les membres AFRALO avaient sélectionné 2 de ces 5 thèmes qu’ils trouvent les plus appropriés :
· Nouveaux gTLD & JAS
· Dissémination du contenu Africain
Pour commencer à préparer la réunion de San José, il nous devons faire le choix final du thème. Prière exprimez votre choix au plus tard le 15 Février.
Et pour rédiger le projet de déclaration à proposer à la réunion de Costa Rica, je vous prie d’exprimer par la même occasion votre volonté à participer activement à la préparation du dit projet. Nous devons préparer le draft avant la fin du mois de Février pour permettre sa finalisation et sa mise en forme avant son impression et sa distribution lors de la réunion conjointe.
