Dear All, ICANNs E-Learning page (see: http://www.icann.org/en/learning/), which was launched in late February, contains multimedia options including webinars, podcasts, and audio briefings that will enable you to learn more about the various initiatives and programs currently going on at ICANN. The Webinars <http://www.icann.org/en/learning/webinars.htm> page contains information on upcoming webinars, including: Synchronized IDN ccTLDs (15 April 2010; two times); Fellowship Program Overview (28 April 2010); Introduction to Internationalized Domain Names (5 May 2010); and IANA Business Excellence (12 May 2010). Registration instructions are also available on this page. A webinar focusing on At-Large/ALAC is being planned to take place in early June. The Podcasts <http://www.icann.org/en/learning/podcasts.htm> page contains links to ICANN podcasts and related materials. Podcasts that have been prepared to date are: Pilot: <http://audio.icann.org/icann-start-00-pilot-20100127-en.mp3> Internationalized Registration Data; Redirection and Wildcarding; IRTP; What is the ccNSO? and Consensus Policy, Registries, and Registrars. Statistics from the first 7 weeks that the podcasts have been available have been impressive. In that short amount of time, podcasts were downloaded nearly 1,000 times (924, to be exact). These downloads were generated by 357 visitors, indicating that those who like the podcast really like it they tend to download multiple episodes. The most popular episode thus far is the IRTP episode, downloaded 342 times. You can subscribe to ICANN podcasts via RSS feed <http://icann.org/en/rss/podcast-en.rss> . The Audio Briefing page <http://icann.org/en/learning/audio-briefings.htm> contains links to ICANN audio briefings. The topics of audio briefings currently available are: ICANN <http://audio.icann.org/atlarge/SSR-Briefing-10-06-2009-EN.mp3> Security, Stability, and Resiliency Plan (SSR) and Introduction <http://audio.icann.org/whois-requirements-20100413-en.mp3> to the Whois Requirements Inventory. The E-Learning page also allows you to vote for which topics you would like to learn more about. Although currently only available in English, plans are being made to produce FR and ES versions. Please feel free to forward this message to your regions and At-Large Structures.
