Dear All, The following question has been posed to the ALAC: Do you support the following motion which was made by Alan Greenberg, ALAC Chair on 30 January 2018 to the ALAC? Whereas the ALAC Rules of Procedures and the associated Adjunct Document 04 – At-Large Structure Framework allows the ALAC to decertify an At-Large Structure (ALS); Whereas, as documented at Visually Impaired and Blind User Group (VIBUG) Decertification Workspace<https://community.icann.org/x/dRCbAw>, Visually Impaired and Blind User Group (VIBUG) either no longer exists or no longer satisfies the requirements to be an ALS as identified in the At-Large Structure Framework, and/or the ALS requirements as outlined in the RALO's rules; Whereas, as documented at America@Large Decertification Workspace<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/America@Large+%28NARALO%29+Decer...>, America@Large either no longer exists or no longer satisfies the requirements to be an ALS as identified in the At-Large Structure Framework, and/or the ALS requirements as outlined in the RALO's rules; Whereas, as documented at Open Media Decertification Workspace<https://community.icann.org/x/UKDDAw>, Open Media either no longer exists or no longer satisfies the requirements to be an ALS as identified in the At-Large Structure Framework, and/or the ALS requirements as outlined in the RALO's rules; Whereas, as documented at ISOC Disabled and Special Needs Decertification Workspace<https://community.icann.org/x/t5nRAw>, ISOC Disabled and Special Needs either no longer exists or no longer satisfies the requirements to be an ALS as identified in the At-Large Structure Framework, and/or the ALS requirements as outlined in the RALO's rules; Whereas, as documented at ISOC North Carolina Decertification Workspace<https://community.icann.org/x/9hwhB>, ISOC North Carolina either no longer exists or no longer satisfies the requirements to be an ALS as identified in the At-Large Structure Framework, and/or the ALS requirements as outlined in the RALO's rules; It is resolved that the ALAC decertifies the following organizations as ICANN At-Large Structures: VIBUG, America@Large, Open Media, ISOC Disabled and Special Needs, ISOC North Carolina. Such decertification is subject ICANN Board Reconsideration as per Article IV, Section 2 of the ICANN Bylaws and is done without prejudice to any future re-application of these organizations for certification as ALSes, or the applications for ALS certification of any other groups bearing the same names.
