We have honed our webinar skills during the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly through a focused U.K. stakeholder series, and have grown our audiences in the Nordic region and Central Europe. We also have had the pleasure of welcoming ICANN President and CEO Göran Marby to several capitals in the region to advance ICANN’s work. We continue to work with partners such as business associations, government agencies, country code top-level domain operators, nongovernmental organizations, and community members to raise awareness of ICANN’s role and open model. She became involved in ICANN in 2015 because of a strong belief in the multistakeholder model of governance and interest in DNS-related policy issues, especially accountability, security and stability, and DNS abuse. Currently a Nominating Committee appointee to the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) Council, Tropina also has participated in the Noncommercial Stakeholder Group within the GNSO. As she was appointed to the ccNSO Council less than a year ago, she plans to continue building her skills as a Councilor at the Policy Forum in The Hague and to continue engaging with the ccNSO community. Jannett Ibañez Bolivia Jannett Ibañez is an information technology professional with a background in computer science. She has been engaged in several information and communication technology projects in Bolivia and was part of the .bo country code top-level domain team from 2016 to 2020, during which she began her involvement with the DNS and information security issues. Ibañez’s first ICANN meeting was ICANN60. She then became a fellow at ICANN62, spoke at Tech Day at ICANN68, and became a member of the Country Code Name Supporting Organization in 2019. She holds an Internet Governance Diploma from CETYS University. As secretary of human rights, Ibañez currently provides support on issues of information and communication technology, security, gender equality, and human rights to a women’s organization in Bolivia’s Caranavi Province. Juuso Järviniemi Finland Originally from Finland, Juuso Järviniemi currently lives in Brussels. He studied European Political and Governance Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges and has been active in the Young European Federalists (JEF-Europe) for many years. Järviniemi was first introduced to ICANN through a series of seminars about Internet governance and artificial intelligence held by JEF in 2021. ICANN74 will be Järviniemi’s first ICANN meeting, and he is motivated to learn more about ICANN's structure. With his background in political science and European studies, Järviniemi is especially interested in the intersection between EU policy and Internet governance, and topics like illegal content and WHOIS.
