Julie has attended several ICANN Meetings and most recently in Singapore attended and began contribution to the Cross Community DSSA-WG's activities as an invited guest / expert, so should the mantle of SSAC Liaison fall to her the Liaison role in the DSSA-WG will not require transition or much of a learning curve... Air Vice-Marshal Julie Hammer AM, CSC – Independent Director Air Vice-Marshal Julie Hammer, an electronics engineer, served in the Royal Australian Air Force for over 28 years in the fields of aircraft maintenance, technical intelligence, electronic warfare, and ICT systems. She acted as the CIO for Defence for the year prior to her retirement. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physics, a Masters degree in Aero Systems Engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Studies and a Doctor of Engineering Honoris Causa.
